Picture 1Ben Watkins has been generating critical acclaim over a number of years for his work on a diverse group of projects ranging from the Japanese Anima feature “Brave Story” to the dark action thrillers of the “Matrix Reloaded” and “Matrix Revolutions”

Ben began his career in the film music world with “Ferris Bueller’s Day off” and “Mortal Kombat” both blockbuster features, using Ben Watkins music.

Born in the UK, Ben’s first composing job was an early foray into the poetical journey of “Beowulf”, later credits include Robert Rodriguez “Once Upon a Time in Mexico” starring Johnny Depp and Antonio Banderas, “Virtuosity” starring Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe.

Ben recently completed work on a film “Dimension Bomb” A Japanese Anima for artist Koji Morimoto and “Genius Party” for Studio 4c.

Ben has always had an eye for cinematic depth, this being the main reason for his career breaking invite by the Wachowski Brothers to score for their billion dollar trilogy “The Matrix Reloaded” & “Matrix Revolutions”

Watkins began his career in music as a singer and performs all over the world with his renowned group Juno Reactor. Forthcoming, he has been invited to score “Iron Sky” a science fiction feature film to be released in 2011.
